The Bay named as one of Britain’s best fish and chip shops in The Mirror
The Bay Fish and Chips has been featured in an article on The Mirror as one of Nick Nairn’s favourite seaside spots to enjoy fish and chips.
TV chef Nick Nairn, believes fish and chips is a British institution, saying: “There are very few things better than fresh fish and really good chips by the seaside. When it’s done right it absolutely sings.”
Amongst other firm fish and chip favourites across the UK, The Bay has been named as one of Nick’s top picks in Aberdeenshire.
In the article, Nick says: “It is run by the amazing Calum Richardson and was named the UK’s No1 fish and chip shop 2013.
“It’s right on the coast so sea-to-plate stuff and I love eating here while watching the waves crashing in.
“On one memorable occasion the waves crashed right over our car. Luckily we had the windows closed.”
