Sustainable

From renewable energy to the fish we fry in our high-efficiency range, we’re almost carbon neutral and working hard to keep reducing our footprint each day.

One of our proudest moments was winning the UK’s Number 1 Independent Takeaway at the National Fish and Chip Awards 2013.

Our Fish

All our fish are caught in the North Sea from stocks which are fully sustainable according to the Marine Conservation Society.

Our chips

We use two main varieties of potatoes at The Bay; Maris Piper and Markies, both sourced from the finest local seed.

Little Noise

We are fully self sufficient, have lithium batteries and don’t require a generator, which means that we create very little noise – perfect for smaller estates or garden parties etc.
