Catering for the COP26 Climate Conference

The Bay Fish and Chips proudly catered for the COP26 Climate Conference last month.

With the rise of environmental issues such as pollution, global warming, and COP26 dominating the headlines, The Bay Fish and Chips were honoured to be part of the Climate Conference in Scotland. It’s no secret that The Bay is passionate about sustainability and as a result, was approached by Compass UK Group, a client, due to their sustainability credentials.

As part of The Bay’s involvement, they provided their signature batter and fishcakes and served up more than 11,000 fish and chips!

Calum says: “We all individually, and collectively should do more. No matter where you are from, we all share the same responsibility to do better for our planet.”

“Taking part in COP26 solidified what we are trying to achieve every day and further highlights our belief that things change so we have to move with the changes. You are never going to be perfect, but you can aim to be perfect.”

“We are hopeful this will spark some conversations over what we can do as a community to fight climate change, but for us, any positive step forward is a gain. We’re incredibly proud of Paul and the whole team at The Bay for the hard work in getting us recognised on this great industry platform.”

Filled with a massive sense of achievement, personally and for the business, The Bay is looking forward to working on any future events.
